Preparation is one of the best ways to feel confident, comfortable, and excited about your session. Whether it’s couples, portraits, lifestyle, or an Intimates shoot, a little intentional prep goes a long way. Here’s a simple guide to help you arrive relaxed and ready.

The Week Before

Choose your outfits, try everything on, and make sure you feel great in each piece. If needed, steam or iron items in advance. Confirm the location, time, and any travel details so you aren’t rushing. If you're getting hair or makeup done, confirm your appointments.

The Day Before

Hydrate, rest, and set aside your outfits. Clean any glasses, jewelry, or accessories you want to wear. If we’re shooting outdoors, check the weather and bring layers if needed.

The Day Of

Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in. Bring water, touch-up essentials, and an open mind — the session is meant to be fun, easy, and natural. I will guide posing, movement, and expression so you never have to “figure it out.”

For Intimates Clients

Prep is simple: moisturize lightly, avoid tight clothing to reduce lines, and bring a few outfit options. The most important part? Trust the process. You don’t need to know how to pose — I guide everything with gentle, easy direction.

A relaxed mind always photographs best.
